Charging and Energy

This software release introduces key improvements and enhancements to ensure your Lucid Gravity operates seamlessly. Vehicle access controls are completely updated. Three NEW features are also added, along with many other key improvements.

Vehicle Access Controls

•More reliable key fob detection - Updated key fob recognition provides more consistent unlocking and quicker readiness to shift into Drive. This reduces situations where the fob needs to be shaken for detection. NOTE: For optimal key fob performance, use the Lucid mobile app to download the latest key fob software. The steps to do this are:

•Open Lucid App

•Scroll down and select the "Software Update" tile

•Select the "KEY FOB" tab at top of the screen.

•Extended key fob battery life - Improved key fob power management now delivers enhanced battery life under normal use. Low‑battery alerts are revised to provide additional time to replace the key fob battery. NOTE: Lucid recommends replacing the key fob battery with this update. Lucid service centers will replace the battery at no cost.

•Enhanced passive entry and exit performance - Refinements to the passive entry and exit system provide smoother, more consistent operation when approaching or leaving the vehicle.

•Improved key card usability - Optimized key card detection at the center console makes tap‑to‑drive faster and more intuitive, improves card reader performance, and supports more consistent vehicle access and vehicle start.

NEW - See-Through Vehicle Display

•Understand the road around AND UNDER your Gravity like never before. When equipped with Dream Drive 2 Premium and Dream Drive 2 Pro, this feature is added to Surround View Monitoring, allowing a view of the surface being driven over. Also, while viewing the front facing camera, turn on See-Through Vehicle to see obstacles approaching your front wheels to avoid them more easily. Great for off-road adventures.

NEW – Immersion Control for Surreal Sound Pro

•Don’t just listen to the music, make it feel like you’re at the concert. This new setting allows further control of the audio experience on vehicles optioned with Surreal Sound Pro, from accurate and focused, to spacious and enveloping. Change the depth of the music around you to your liking.

NEW – 2nd Row EZ Entry Button Experience

•Easily configure your seats at the touch of a button. The 2nd Row EZ Entry button is now updated to be able to fold the 2nd row seats flat and move the front seat forward when you need to unfold. No need to open other doors to configure the layout you want.

•Easy entry: single press

•Move front row forward (while unfolded): double press

Automated Driving Assistance

•Improved steering wheel button software to enhance ACC and Drive Assist activation via steering wheel.

•Improved Blind Spot, Rear View and Surround View Display image quality.

•Improved logic for Drive Assistance systems to proactively minimize sensor blockage events.

In-Cabin Comfort and Lighting

•Updated logic to keep lighting, seating and HVAC settings between driving sessions and power cycles.

•Aligned all interior lighting to reflect the same selected color.

•Improved cabin warmup performance in HVAC Auto mode.

•Improved windshield defogging performance in mild weather conditions.

•Improved cabin noise by redirecting air flow to reduce whistling from the air vents.

•Improved heating performance and efficiency in cold-weather conditions by updating cabin dehumidification calibration.

•Updated user interface visuals to remove instances where 72°F (22°C) did not appear on screen during temp control adjustment.

•Updated software to keep consistent display of HVAC controls while the vehicle is in accessory mode.

•Reduced occurrence of high-fan speed noise when the active grill shutters are closed.

•Improved HVAC system operation for quieter performance, better efficiency, and more consistent cabin comfort.

Infotainment

•Improved stability, performance, and responsiveness for the User Interface (UI) Display. Wake-up performance and camera views improved.

•Improved media playback by reducing interruption issues.

•Improved seat control in UI/UX for increased stability and responsiveness. NOTE: In this release, the UI/UX of all vehicle seats will be represented with black seats, not necessarily matching the vehicle interior color.

NOTE: In this release, some seat controls were removed from the center screen to improve performance. Physical seat controls are still available on the side of the seat. Digital controls will be reintroduced in a future release.

•Updated experience with the removal of unneeded or inaccurate notifications. Examples of alerts that have been removed or reduced when they don't impact the driver:

     •Handled some instances of incompatible Tesla chargers being displayed through search.

     •Updated the navigation engine for improved route display and reliability.

     •Corrected issues where the route line might temporarily disappear on certain screens or stop updating when another app is in focus.

     •Addressed potential flicker in the home/navigation widgets on the cluster.

     •Stabilized the vehicle location in rare instances of map drift while vehicle is stationary.

Climate Control

     •Reduced noise and excessive fan speed of the climate control system at vehicle startup.

     •Update to align the HVAC fan speed with the command made in the infotainment during vehicle start up, exit and entry.

     •Over-the-air (OTA) Software

     •Improved how software versions are stored and reported so OTA versions don’t show incorrect values after startup.

     •More resilient communication of software version information between systems.

Cloud & Sanctuary

     •Improved download performance and reliability for Sanctuary and cloud-delivered content.

Network & Core System

     •Enhanced cellular network resume behavior so connections come online more reliably after sleep or low-power states.

     •Addressed rare conditions that could cause system instability.

Lighting

     •Removed errant “Headlight Error” message which appeared during some charging sessions where primary headlight function was not affected.

General Stability & Performance

     •Numerous under-the-hood improvements across displays, vehicle communication, and system health monitoring to improve overall stability and reduce edge-case issues.

This software update enhances overall system stability and reduces instances of false “Key Not Detected” alerts through improvements to the vehicle-side software.

Separately, an updated key fob software version eliminates rare cases where removing and reinstalling the key fob battery may have been necessary to restore recognition. To receive this key fob update, please schedule a service appointment, either at a Lucid Service Center or with a Lucid Mobile Service technician who can perform the update at your location.

Additional refinements to key fob connectivity and vehicle access functionality are planned for future releases.

Towing

Introducing Tow Mode for Lucid Gravity. Dream Edition and Grand Touring models equipped with the towing package can tow trailers rated up to 6,000 lbs (2,721 kg).

NOTE: Some DreamDrive features may be unavailable while towing a trailer or carrying rear-mounted accessories.

•Tow mode - A new drive mode (alongside Smooth, Swift, and Sprint) that adjusts vehicle settings to maximize comfort and control while towing a trailer. Tow Mode is activated automatically when a trailer is plugged in, or can be selected from the drive mode on the Pilot Panel.

•Rear Attachment Optimization - Disables rear-facing DreamDrive features when something (such as a bike rack or cargo carrier) is attached to the tow hitch and obstructs the rear sensors. The system can detect some attachments automatically, but can also be manually activated in the DreamDrive settings menu.

•Hitch Optimization - Improves the performance of the parking features with a tow hitch attached by accounting for the added length of the hitch. Hitch Optimization must be manually enabled in the DreamDrive settings menu.

•Hitch View - An additional option in the Rear View Monitor is now available on vehicles equipped with the towing package.

•Integrated Trailer Brake Controller - Gravity is equipped with an integrated trailer brake controller for use with trailers equipped with electric brakes. Refer to the Lucid •Gravity Owner's Manual for trailer brake controller setup and operation.

•Trailer Light Check - This feature illuminates the trailer's lights in sequence when a trailer is connected, aiding the process of checking the trailer lights before towing. •Trailer Light Check can be started from the Lucid Mobile App or from the drive mode menu on the Pilot Panel.

DreamDrive

•Posted Speed Update Alert will no longer give a chime. Instead, the system will flash the speed sign on the display as a visual alert.

•Cross-Traffic Protection - The warning experience has been enhanced:

-While stationary, a visual alert notifies of front crossing vehicles.

-While in motion, visual and audible warnings provide awareness of potential hazards.

New Feature: Halo Secure App

•The Halo Secure App enhances peace of mind by monitoring the vehicle, detecting and deterring potential threats, and recording incidents when needed.

With Live View, surroundings of Lucid Gravity can be seen in real time through the Lucid Mobile App.

NOTE: This feature is available only in certain regions with specific trims. Also, Live View requires the latest version of the Mobile App.

•Drive Recorder automatically captures and saves video clips of important events directly to the vehicle. Events triggering Drive Recorder are user-customizable, except for a crash event, which is always enabled. Additional security features will be delivered via future over-the-air updates.

To enable Drive Recorder, insert a compatible USB 2.0 drive in the port in the glove box. It must have at least 128 GB of storage, write speed of at least 7.5 MB/sec, and read speed of at least 20 MB/sec. USB 2.0 drives that are rated for “high endurance” or “high read/write cycles” often meet these criteria, as they have been developed for constant video recording.

Keys

This software update improves the connection between your key fob and your Lucid vehicle, delivering a smoother, more consistent experience every time you drive. To ensure the highest level of security, part of this update requires a quick in-person service by a certified Lucid technician. This process is brief, complimentary, and can be completed at any Lucid Service Center. To learn more, please contact Lucid Customer Care.

Infotainment

•Favorites— Save more than just Home and Work in Navigation. Any destination can now be bookmarked for quick access:

-From the Points of Interest page, tap the Bookmark icon to save a location.     -From the Favorites page, select the 'Add tile' option.

•Media Ducking - Navigation prompts and safety chimes will now temporarily lower the media volume in the front row, so passengers in the second and third rows can enjoy a smoother listening experience.

•Phone calls - Improved audio quality makes calls clearer, with reduced echo and background noise.

•Audio - Playback quality has been refined for an even richer listening experience.

•Energy App – The Consumption Graph now includes two new views: “Since Last Charge” and “Active Route,” offering more insightful tracking of energy usage. The range map has been updated to be clearer, easier to read, and more intuitive. Please note that these enhancements require the system to reset the Energy App, meaning prior drive history will no longer be reflected.

•Wiper Control - Auto wipers now have three sensitivity levels. Tap AUTO to easily cycle through the settings.

Interior

First Row Courtesy Movement— The courtesy movement now detects passenger presence in the front row and provides a notification to confirm seat movement in both the first and second rows.

Resolved issue that was preventing Creature Comfort and Keep modes from effectively cooling the car. Once this update is installed, these features will operate as intended.

Improved alert behaviors related to headlights, wireless charging, suspension, and steering.

Notification when Ride Height Selection is Not Available

Customized Controls

Preferred functions can now be assigned to the customizable buttons on the steering wheel and the Pilot Panel. These assignments are saved to the user profile to personalize the in-cabin experience. After this update is installed, the system will prompt for a function assignment upon the first press of a customizable button.

Infotainment

•Creature Comfort Mode - Maintains a comfortable temperature for pets left in the vehicle and displays a message on the screens to inform passersby that the pet is safe.

•Keep Mode - Preserves the desired cabin temperature after exiting the vehicle.

NOTE: Both Creature Comfort and Keep modes can be accessed via the Climate Modes display on the Pilot Panel.

•Infotainment Reboot - If you are experiencing issues with your infotainment system or screens you can now reboot the infotainment system. With vehicle in Park and brake pedal depressed, press and hold the 'Cancel' and 'Voice Assistant' buttons on the steering wheel for ~10 seconds, until a chime sounds. When released, the reboot will be finished in approximately one minute.

•SiriusXM - A contextual control button has been added to the Now Playing screen to provide quicker access to key features, enabling a more seamless listening experience.

•Bluetooth - The connection experience has been streamlined by consolidating the separate Phone and Music icons into a single, unified Bluetooth icon. This update enhances clarity and presents a cleaner, more intuitive status display.

DreamDrive Pro

•Lane Change Assist - DreamDrive can now initiate an automatic lane change maneuver when the turn signal lever is activated, provided Drive Assist is active on a highway.

NOTE: Lane Change Assist is a driver assistance feature. The driver remains responsible for the driving task, including verifying that it is safe to change lanes and monitoring surrounding traffic throughout the maneuver.

•Lane Change Suggestion - When a slower-moving vehicle is detected ahead, the system may suggest a lane change. Suggestions may also be provided when the vehicle is in the leftmost freeway lane to help keep the passing lane clear for other traffic.

•Rear Pedestrian Collision Protection - Warns if the system detects an imminent rear collision with a pedestrian and may automatically apply emergency braking to help avoid impact.

Energy App

•Energy Saver Enhancements - Battery preconditioning and AC outlets now turn off automatically when Energy Saver mode is active, helping conserve power more effectively.

•Improved Range Display - Clearer Rated and Dynamic range labels have been added to provide better insight into the vehicle’s estimated range.

•Charging Points-of-Interest Filter - The charger filter option is now easily accessible under the Range tab to determine which chargers appear in the Range Spider.

•Minor updates have also been made to improve text clarity and overall readability throughout the app.

Mobile App

•Notifications for over-the-air updates are now available in the Lucid Mobile App. Updates can be scheduled for installation at a convenient time directly through the app.

•Ride height can now be controlled via the mobile app to make vehicle loading more convenient.

Wiper

•Wiper sttings on the Left Cockpit Panel have been improved to provide enhanced control over wiper speed. The display now features a slider for adjusting the wiper.

•Pressing the left steering column stalk button successively will now toggle through wiper speed settings.

•Rear wipers now remain active when the vehicle is shifted into reverse.

Notification when Ride Height Selection is Not Available

A notification now appears when Ride Height Selection is temporarily unavailable. This may occur when a door is open, or when the vehicle is charging.
