Overview

In this update, we are releasing (NEW) Hands-Free Driving and a suite of hands-free driving features (for DreamDrive2 Pro-equipped vehicles) that enhance the highway driving experience, (NEW) Better Places Search in Lucid Navigation, (NEW) Adaptive Driving Beam (ADB), (NEW) Predictive Charging Power feature, and several new enhancements and improvements. We are also making updates to the vehicle access control system and improvements to the Media experience.

•Faster, smoother system startup: Improvements behind the scenes help the system start up more quickly and feel more responsive when you get in and drive.

•(NEW) Hands-Free Driving with DreamDrive2 Pro

Enjoy a more relaxed and intuitive driving experience with a suite of new, hands-free driver assistance features for DreamDrive2 Pro. Hands-Free Drive Assist will now assist with steering, acceleration, and braking on compatible roadways. Hands-Free Lane Change Assist will steer your vehicle into an adjacent lane when it is safe to do so after the turn signal is activated. And when Automatic Lane Changes are enabled, your vehicle will smoothly change lanes automatically to overtake slower vehicles during highway driving.

Note: The sensors and cameras that power Drive Assist need to be calibrated the first time you use it. To calibrate the sensors, drive for at least 30 minutes on straight highways with at least one lane on either side of your vehicle, ideally with clear road markings. Once Drive Assist is ready, a steering icon will appear next to the speedometer on the Clearview Cockpit when DreamDrive is enabled. See your Owner’s Manual for more details.

•(NEW) Driving Styles for DreamDrive2 Pro

Choose your preferred driving style for certain DreamDrive2 driver assistance features. Select Conservative or Assertive to tailor assisted lane changes to your preference.

•(NEW) Enhanced DreamDrive Visualization for DreamDrive2 Pro

See a real-time visualization of up to five lanes of traffic on the Clearview Cockpit when Adaptive Cruise Control or Drive Assist is active, allowing greater visibility while using driver assistance features.

•(NEW) Adaptive Driving Beam for DreamDrive2 Premium & DreamDrive2 Pro

Fully illuminate the road ahead for more comfort and safety while driving at night. High beams will stay on and adjust automatically to avoid blinding other drivers.

•(NEW) Better Places Search in Lucid Navigation

Lucid Navigation now uses the Google Maps Places API to provide richer, more reliable information about every destination with every search. Enjoy fresher results, more accurate business details, and useful place insights, including ratings, photos, and parking information.

•(NEW) Fast Charging

This update introduces Advanced Preconditioning View and Predictive Charging Power offering greater insights that improve the DC fast charging experience.

•(NEW) Schedule Climate via Mobile App

Remote climate scheduling allows users to set and manage climate schedules via Lucid Mobile App based on departure schedules, with flexibility for select days or recurring schedules. This feature helps prepare your cabin to your chosen comfort temperature just in time for your scheduled departure.

DreamDrive

•Available on DreamDrive2 Pro–equipped vehicles only.

•Hands-Free Driving: New Hands-Free Drive Assist helps steer, accelerate, and brake on select roads. When the turn signal is activated, Hands-Free Lane Change Assist can steer your vehicle into the adjacent lane for you when Hands-Free Drive Assist is active. To initiate a hands-free lane change, activate your turn signal in the direction of the lane you would like to move into. When it is safe to do so, your vehicle will automatically steer into that lane and re-center itself. To cancel a lane change, activate your turn signal in the opposite direction. If hands-free features are not available, DreamDrive will default to hands-on features.

•These new hands-free features will be enabled by default. You can customize them in your DreamDrive settings.

•Automatic Lane Change: Your vehicle can now change lanes for you when it is safe to smoothly overtake slower vehicles. If the lane change involves moving into a passing lane, your vehicle will also move back into your original lane to complete the maneuver and keep traffic flowing. This new feature is on by default. You can disable it in your DreamDrive settings.

•Changing lanes manually or canceling a lane-change maneuver will temporarily disable Automatic Lane Changes. See your Owner’s Manual for more information.

•Hands-free features and automatic lane changes are only available in North America on select highways. These features require Lucid Gravity’s Driver Monitoring System to check that the driver is attentive and has a clear view of the road, and may require seat or steering wheel adjustments.

•Customized Driving Style: Pick a driving style for DreamDrive’s driver assistance features that aligns with your personal comfort behind the wheel. Conservative will give you fewer lane-change maneuvers, particularly in heavy traffic, while Assertive will change lanes more often. In all cases, your vehicle will only change lanes when it is safe to do so. Find and adjust these driving styles in your DreamDrive settings.

•Enhanced traffic visualization: When Adaptive Cruise Control or Drive Assist is active, a real-time visualization of up to five lanes of traffic and the road users around your vehicle will be displayed on the Clearview Cockpit, helping you see what your eyes cannot while your driver assistance features are active. The visualization now more accurately portrays SUVs, pickup trucks, and buses, and if another vehicle is preventing an assisted or hands-free lane change, it will be highlighted.

Smart Energy

•The new Advanced Preconditioning View and Predictive Charging Power give you a better understanding of your vehicle’s preconditioning progress to help you optimize DC fast charging.

•When preconditioning for fast charging, a new battery readiness indicator shows your progress toward the optimal target temperature range for fast charging. See a real-time estimate of the peak charging power your vehicle is ready to receive before you plug in, based on your current battery temperature, battery level, and other vehicle conditions. With this information, you can decide to precondition a little longer to optimize your peak charging power, or plug in right away.

•Enable this feature in Energy > Charging > Settings.

•Energy Save Mode: Energy Saver Mode helps prioritize range to help you go the extra mile. Now, when Energy Saver Mode is on, you can still control some climate settings for greater comfort. Climate will run in Auto to optimize your estimated range, now with more flexible temperature controls. Some Climate settings will still be unavailable when Energy Saver Mode is on. If you would like to change them in the moment, you can disable Energy Saver Mode with just one tap.

•Energy Insights: The values displayed in your Efficiency Widget and Trip Meter on the Clearview Cockpit are now even more accurate to give you a better sense of how you’re driving and how to drive more efficiently.

•Energy Improvements: Your Lucid Gravity charging experience is now better than ever. Your vehicle now uses even less energy when in Park and will now prioritize only necessary battery alerts, so you know when you should find a charging station.

•Energy Range Settings via Mobile App: Lucid mobile app now supports all three range settings: Rated, Percentage, and Dynamic.

Navigation

•Better Places Search in Lucid Navigation: Lucid Navigation now uses the Google Maps Places API to provide richer, more reliable information about every destination with every search. Enjoy fresher results, more accurate business details, and useful place insights, including ratings, photos, and parking information.

•See the real driving distance to potential destinations, rather than estimates, to make more informed choices about where to go.

•View more comprehensive charging station results that now include recent photos and better real-time charger availability, so you can know more before you go and route to the best station for you.

•Simply use the on-screen search bar to find destinations more naturally. For example, just type: “Vietnamese restaurants near me” and see relevant, up-to-date results instantly.

•Note: Places data from Google Maps is available only when your vehicle is connected to the internet.

Lights & Mirrors

•Adaptive Driving Beam for DreamDrive Premium & DreamDrive Pro: See the road ahead more brightly for increased safety and confidence while driving at night with Adaptive Driving Beam. When enabled, Adaptive Driving Beam keeps your high beams on most of the time whenever you are traveling above 25 mph (40 kmh) in non-urban areas, making it easier to see the road and any obstacles in your path. To avoid blinding other drivers, your high-tech headlamps automatically adjust the shape of the beam around other vehicles, reducing glare without compromising visibility. To enable, go to Settings > Vehicle > Exterior Lighting.

•Mirror Tilt - More control while reversing: When reversing, you can now choose to tilt the driver-side mirror, passenger-side mirror, or both for improved visibility.

Access & Keys

•Auto Lock & Unlock: When Auto Lock & Unlock is enabled, your vehicle will now detect your approach sooner and extend the door handles earlier, so they are ready to open when you are ready to go.

•When Auto Lock & Unlock is disabled, if your vehicle is unlocked, unoccupied, and no recognized key is in range, it will now go to sleep faster to save energy.

Media

•We have made overall enhancements to the Media experience in your vehicle, including improved native and third-party app performance and switching, more reliable audio playback, more reliable Favorites and History saving, and fixes to the user interface.

•Simplified Device Switching: Switch between your paired Bluetooth® devices and manage them more easily with faster, more intuitive access to your device settings from both your Media and Phone apps. Select the device you would like to use and stay connected so your calls and tunes are always in sync.

•Android Auto: Android Auto is now even better. We have improved the steering wheel control response to skip songs, problems with playback and app stability, and made enhancements to the user interface and how Android Auto reconnects automatically.

•Apple CarPlay: Apple CarPlay is also even better. We have improved app stability to keep your displays from freezing and the reliability of your volume controls when CarPlay is in use. We also made improvements to how album art displays and how CarPlay reconnects automatically when your vehicle wakes up.

Mobile App

•Trip Sharing from your Smartphone: Share a destination you have found on a third-party map app or in the Lucid mobile app with your vehicle to find an EV-optimized route. You should be logged into the vehicle for this feature to be functional.

Security

•Halo Secure Drive Recorder: Drive Recorder is available when your vehicle is parked and occupied to capture footage of the unexpected, even when you aren’t driving. Reviewing recordings in fisheye view is now easier, with corrected perspective and improved clarity.

Connect your iPhone® or Android™ device to the Lucid Gravity with enhanced usability. Expect your phone calls to be crystal clear with the implementation of our new Voice Engine (NEW). Remote Start (Keyless Driving) via Mobile App (NEW) allows you to drive without the need for a key by activating from your mobile app.

This release also includes a broad set of improvements across the entire infotainment, connectivity, media, and vehicle control stack.

•With the Lucid Infotainment system, you can connect your iPhone or Android device your way. Apple CarPlay1 and Android Auto2 compatibility are now available in Lucid Gravity, making all your messages, maps, and on-the-go moments accessible to you with ease.

•This update introduces our new machine-learning-powered voice engine, delivering dramatically clearer voice quality to the people you call. By intelligently isolating your voice from background noise, it allows your speech to come through cleanly and naturally.

NEW – Remote Start (Keyless Driving) via Mobile App

•This update introduces Remote Start (Keyless Driving) for Gravity vehicles. When activated from the Lucid Mobile App, a two minute timer starts. The vehicle will unlock – driver door handle must be pushed in, so it deploys out allowing the door to be opened. The vehicle can be driven without a physical key. If driving does not begin within two minutes, Remote Start (Keyless Driving) must be re-initiated from the Lucid Mobile App. Requires Lucid Mobile App version 2.14.0 or later. For the most reliable experience, please continue to carry your Key fob and/or Key card, since this feature is dependent on network connectivity.

Charging Updates

•An update to Smart Preconditioning improves charging performance and reduces charging times at DC charging stations.

•Charging is now smoother at select DC stations. Your vehicle is more likely to start charging on the first try; no more unplugging and plugging back in.

•Your AC outlets remain active during DC fast charging, reliably keeping your devices powered, even on hot days.

This software release introduces key improvements and enhancements to ensure your Lucid Gravity operates seamlessly. Vehicle access controls are completely updated. Three NEW features are also added, along with many other key improvements.

Vehicle Access Controls

•More reliable key fob detection - Updated key fob recognition provides more consistent unlocking and quicker readiness to shift into Drive. This reduces situations where the fob needs to be shaken for detection. NOTE: For optimal key fob performance, use the Lucid mobile app to download the latest key fob software. The steps to do this are:

•Open Lucid App

•Scroll down and select the "Software Update" tile

•Select the "KEY FOB" tab at top of the screen.

•Extended key fob battery life - Improved key fob power management now delivers enhanced battery life under normal use. Low‑battery alerts are revised to provide additional time to replace the key fob battery. NOTE: Lucid recommends replacing the key fob battery with this update. Lucid service centers will replace the battery at no cost.

•Enhanced passive entry and exit performance - Refinements to the passive entry and exit system provide smoother, more consistent operation when approaching or leaving the vehicle.

•Improved key card usability - Optimized key card detection at the center console makes tap‑to‑drive faster and more intuitive, improves card reader performance, and supports more consistent vehicle access and vehicle start.

NEW - See-Through Vehicle Display

•Understand the road around AND UNDER your Gravity like never before. When equipped with Dream Drive 2 Premium and Dream Drive 2 Pro, this feature is added to Surround View Monitoring, allowing a view of the surface being driven over. Also, while viewing the front facing camera, turn on See-Through Vehicle to see obstacles approaching your front wheels to avoid them more easily. Great for off-road adventures.

NEW – Immersion Control for Surreal Sound Pro

•Don’t just listen to the music, make it feel like you’re at the concert. This new setting allows further control of the audio experience on vehicles optioned with Surreal Sound Pro, from accurate and focused, to spacious and enveloping. Change the depth of the music around you to your liking.

•Easily configure your seats at the touch of a button. The 2nd Row EZ Entry button is now updated to be able to fold the 2nd row seats flat and move the front seat forward when you need to unfold. No need to open other doors to configure the layout you want.

Separately, an updated key fob software version eliminates rare cases where removing and reinstalling the key fob battery may have been necessary to restore recognition. To receive this key fob update, please schedule a service appointment, either at a Lucid Service Center or with a Lucid Mobile Service technician who can perform the update at your location.

Additional refinements to key fob connectivity and vehicle access functionality are planned for future releases.

Introducing Tow Mode for Lucid Gravity. Dream Edition and Grand Touring models equipped with the towing package can tow trailers rated up to 6,000 lbs (2,721 kg).

NOTE: Some DreamDrive features may be unavailable while towing a trailer or carrying rear-mounted accessories.

•Tow mode - A new drive mode (alongside Smooth, Swift, and Sprint) that adjusts vehicle settings to maximize comfort and control while towing a trailer. Tow Mode is activated automatically when a trailer is plugged in, or can be selected from the drive mode on the Pilot Panel.

•Rear Attachment Optimization - Disables rear-facing DreamDrive features when something (such as a bike rack or cargo carrier) is attached to the tow hitch and obstructs the rear sensors. The system can detect some attachments automatically, but can also be manually activated in the DreamDrive settings menu.

•Hitch Optimization - Improves the performance of the parking features with a tow hitch attached by accounting for the added length of the hitch. Hitch Optimization must be manually enabled in the DreamDrive settings menu.

•Hitch View - An additional option in the Rear View Monitor is now available on vehicles equipped with the towing package.

•Integrated Trailer Brake Controller - Gravity is equipped with an integrated trailer brake controller for use with trailers equipped with electric brakes. Refer to the Lucid •Gravity Owner's Manual for trailer brake controller setup and operation.

•Trailer Light Check - This feature illuminates the trailer's lights in sequence when a trailer is connected, aiding the process of checking the trailer lights before towing. •Trailer Light Check can be started from the Lucid Mobile App or from the drive mode menu on the Pilot Panel.

DreamDrive

•Posted Speed Update Alert will no longer give a chime. Instead, the system will flash the speed sign on the display as a visual alert.

•Cross-Traffic Protection - The warning experience has been enhanced:

-While stationary, a visual alert notifies of front crossing vehicles.

-While in motion, visual and audible warnings provide awareness of potential hazards.

New Feature: Halo Secure App

•The Halo Secure App enhances peace of mind by monitoring the vehicle, detecting and deterring potential threats, and recording incidents when needed.

With Live View, surroundings of Lucid Gravity can be seen in real time through the Lucid Mobile App.

NOTE: This feature is available only in certain regions with specific trims. Also, Live View requires the latest version of the Mobile App.

•Drive Recorder automatically captures and saves video clips of important events directly to the vehicle. Events triggering Drive Recorder are user-customizable, except for a crash event, which is always enabled. Additional security features will be delivered via future over-the-air updates.

To enable Drive Recorder, insert a compatible USB 2.0 drive in the port in the glove box. It must have at least 128 GB of storage, write speed of at least 7.5 MB/sec, and read speed of at least 20 MB/sec. USB 2.0 drives that are rated for “high endurance” or “high read/write cycles” often meet these criteria, as they have been developed for constant video recording.

Keys

This software update improves the connection between your key fob and your Lucid vehicle, delivering a smoother, more consistent experience every time you drive. To ensure the highest level of security, part of this update requires a quick in-person service by a certified Lucid technician. Infotainment

•Favorites— Save more than just Home and Work in Navigation. Any destination can now be bookmarked for quick access:

-From the Points of Interest page, tap the Bookmark icon to save a location.     -From the Favorites page, select the 'Add tile' option.

•Media Ducking - Navigation prompts and safety chimes will now temporarily lower the media volume in the front row, so passengers in the second and third rows can enjoy a smoother listening experience.

•Phone calls - Improved audio quality makes calls clearer, with reduced echo and background noise.

•Audio - Playback quality has been refined for an even richer listening experience.

•Energy App – The Consumption Graph now includes two new views: “Since Last Charge” and “Active Route,” offering more insightful tracking of energy usage. The range map has been updated to be clearer, easier to read, and more intuitive. Please note that these enhancements require the system to reset the Energy App, meaning prior drive history will no longer be reflected.

•Wiper Control - Auto wipers now have three sensitivity levels. Tap AUTO to easily cycle through the settings.

Interior

First Row Courtesy Movement— The courtesy movement now detects passenger presence in the front row and provides a notification to confirm seat movement in both the first and second rows.

Notification when Ride Height Selection is Not Available

Preferred functions can now be assigned to the customizable buttons on the steering wheel and the Pilot Panel. These assignments are saved to the user profile to personalize the in-cabin experience. After this update is installed, the system will prompt for a function assignment upon the first press of a customizable button.

Infotainment

•Creature Comfort Mode - Maintains a comfortable temperature for pets left in the vehicle and displays a message on the screens to inform passersby that the pet is safe.

•Keep Mode - Preserves the desired cabin temperature after exiting the vehicle.

NOTE: Both Creature Comfort and Keep modes can be accessed via the Climate Modes display on the Pilot Panel.

•Infotainment Reboot - If you are experiencing issues with your infotainment system or screens you can now reboot the infotainment system. With vehicle in Park and brake pedal depressed, press and hold the 'Cancel' and 'Voice Assistant' buttons on the steering wheel for ~10 seconds, until a chime sounds. When released, the reboot will be finished in approximately one minute.

•SiriusXM - A contextual control button has been added to the Now Playing screen to provide quicker access to key features, enabling a more seamless listening experience.

•Bluetooth - The connection experience has been streamlined by consolidating the separate Phone and Music icons into a single, unified Bluetooth icon. This update enhances clarity and presents a cleaner, more intuitive status display.

DreamDrive Pro

•Lane Change Assist - DreamDrive can now initiate an automatic lane change maneuver when the turn signal lever is activated, provided Drive Assist is active on a highway.

NOTE: Lane Change Assist is a driver assistance feature. The driver remains responsible for the driving task, including verifying that it is safe to change lanes and monitoring surrounding traffic throughout the maneuver.

•Lane Change Suggestion - When a slower-moving vehicle is detected ahead, the system may suggest a lane change. Suggestions may also be provided when the vehicle is in the leftmost freeway lane to help keep the passing lane clear for other traffic.

•Rear Pedestrian Collision Protection - Warns if the system detects an imminent rear collision with a pedestrian and may automatically apply emergency braking to help avoid impact.

Energy App

•Energy Saver Enhancements - Battery preconditioning and AC outlets now turn off automatically when Energy Saver mode is active, helping conserve power more effectively.

•Improved Range Display - Clearer Rated and Dynamic range labels have been added to provide better insight into the vehicle’s estimated range.

•Charging Points-of-Interest Filter - The charger filter option is now easily accessible under the Range tab to determine which chargers appear in the Range Spider.

•Minor updates have also been made to improve text clarity and overall readability throughout the app.

Mobile App

•Notifications for over-the-air updates are now available in the Lucid Mobile App. Updates can be scheduled for installation at a convenient time directly through the app.

•Ride height can now be controlled via the mobile app to make vehicle loading more convenient.

Wiper

•Wiper sttings on the Left Cockpit Panel have been improved to provide enhanced control over wiper speed. The display now features a slider for adjusting the wiper.

•Pressing the left steering column stalk button successively will now toggle through wiper speed settings.

•Rear wipers now remain active when the vehicle is shifted into reverse.

Notification when Ride Height Selection is Not Available

A notification now appears when Ride Height Selection is temporarily unavailable. This may occur when a door is open, or when the vehicle is charging.
